Vacancy: Workshop labourer/Cabinet maker

Location: Essendine, Stamford

Hourly rate: Negotiable dependant on experience

We're looking for:

Hands-on doer. Reliable, turns up, cracks on, takes pride in tidy, accurate work.
Practical brain. Can read a tape to the mm, follow a cut list, spot when something’s off and fix it.
Team player. Happy to muck in across the workshop (cutting, edging, assembling, loading).
Safety-first. Respects machines, tools and a clean floor.
Nice-to-haves: driving licence; basic joinery/cabinetry experience; previously used an edge bander/CNC and has workshop experience.

Must: know how to measuring accurately, have basic tool use (drills, routers etc), be able to follow drawings/cut lists, be physically fit for manual handling, able to keep a clean bench and workspace.
Bonus: Experience of operating edge bander and CNC, experience of reading technical drawings.

Cut, edge and prep panels; assemble cabinets; fit Quality-check before pack-out.
Wrap, load and help the fitting team when needed.
Take deliveries, book in materials, keep the workshop safe and tidy.
Look after tools and report issues early.
Work mostly Mon–Fri (days) with occasional overtime when deadlines are tight.
Opportunity to learn the machines, grow into skilled cabinet maker or CNC programmer if that's your path.
